Cell Phone Insurance Claims

I have been unfortunate to have to make 3 seperate cell phone claims in a short period of time due to the brazen criminals in SA. Having been a victim of crime the last issue I have had to deal with is bad service from the claims submitted. With the first 2 claims (both resolved now) I had to follow up on the progress through to final approval. Of the first of these I found to my horror that the claim application had not even been sent to Hollard a week after having been in the store to complete the documents. The third claim, which is apparently in progress, has taken 2 weeks to date, with no feedback. I went into the store yesterday and it took an hour just to find out that Hollard are still busy processing the claim. First of all, I had to wait a long time to be assisted, then when I was assisted it was my a trainee who tried her best but spent at least 15 minutes on the phone to give me this feedback after initially being told the claim status was "replaced". The person running the counter did not seem interested in the least to assist with this and left it all in the hands of the trainee. This is not a good role model for a trainee, nor creates customer satisfaction.
