Mr Sipho Hlatshwayo bought a Tablet (samsung P5100) at one of the Edgars branches in pta, asked for insurance to be loaded, consultant loaded insurance and he is been paying the instalments, he lost the phone went to claim insurance and he was told that Edgars doesnt insure Phones that costs more that R5000 and no one told him that when he requested insurance, funny enough they have been debiting his account, my urgument is why didnt they agree to insure my phone and debit his account if they knew they dont cover tablets, why do they even sell them? is it our fault that they have incompitent /untrained staff? we went to Edgars store almost daily to make a follow up as they dont even call to update him, no one is willing to give us answers was advised to wait for Hollard to answear and not sure of when are they going to come back to us, its been 3 weeks now waiting for my Phone. you cant even complaine because they dont have store manager.
this is a day light robberry..
