Cellphone repair insurance

I bought a cellphone and was advised to insure it. I did all the processes as recommended by Edgars Stores. After a few months my phone broke its screen. I took it in under the insurance cover, but after ten days at around 7pm l got a call asking for my initial insurance slip, and I emailed it, only to be told after two days thatEdgars did not update my account because their system had problems. So my account was not updated witg the Iinsurance charge and so my phone would only be attended after paying R900. I could not raise that so I called back my phone and it came after another ten days. This happened after the customer care department intervened. That was the best they could do. I went to cancel my other insurances with Edgars because if this is what they can do then their system cannot be trusted.
