I applied for insurance for two phones last year in September at Edgars in Waterfront Shopping Mall in Bloemfontein.
i lost my phone on on friday last week which i went to edgars to make a claim for the phone.
i was told to come back on friday which is today to get my new phone or feedback. when i got there i was told the phone i want claim for doesn't reflect on their system and if i want the phone i should pay the amount from September last year until now.
I was told i wasn't paying for the phone. the problem is all i did was to go to the shop and pay for the monthly statement in total.
I was told by edgars that it's not their problem and i have to take it up with their insurance company and the insurance company forward the fault to edgars. at the moment i don't have a phone. the guy i spoke to over the phone is now threatening me saying if i don't pay the amount they are not going to give me the phone.
could i please be assisted in regards to this problem
