POOR turnaround time and "service"

I was unfortunate enough to lodge a claim with AFI for of certain items insured under "all risk items". I lodged the claim on 4 March 2013, and to date, this claim has still not been settled, despite the assessors having sent the signed AOL to the claims dept for processing. This entire claims procedure has been a NIGHTMARE to say the least! From having to follow up with the claims department myself to get the claim documents to fill in, to following up with the assessors as to the outcome to getting the actual claim PAID OUT. I am seriously wondering if moving over my portfolio to AFI was a wise move. SO SO SO disappointed!
