I have found that my ABSA debit card is always declined on the card machine systems used by Mr Price (I think it is Capitec?). Until today the MR Price sales personel have always then successfully put my card payment through on the ABSA card machine present in all Mr Price branches. Today the sales lady refused to put my card through on the ABSA card machine after I explained that it ALWAYS gets declined on the other (capitec?) one. The ABSA card machine was right there, in front of me, but no, I was told (with attitude) that I will just have to go and draw money and come back. I walked out.
Is this new policy, and if so, do you not want my business anymore?
