2 weeks ago I bought a microwave from OK Furniture in Nigel. Upon completing the payment i was informed that there was no stock of the item. I felt unhappy because if had known there was no stock I wouldn't have bought it. I offered to buy the display model (at a reduced price obviously) but it landed on deaf ears and I was promised that the stock would come in the next week and that I would be called to collect. I accepted and waited the whole week for a call that the item has arrived. Today (Monday) I decided to call the branch to find out what is going on. I was told by Lisa that the item is in stock and that I should come to collect it.
Upon arriving at the store I had to wait for about 30 minutes before the Manager on duty told me that they do not have stock of the item. being upset about having my time wasted I demanded my money back. I didn't bring my original proof of payment and was advised that even though they have a copy and know all about the transaction I need to go back home to collect the slip to get a refund.
the whole transaction was terrible from the start and I advise all reading this to think twice before spending your money at OK Furniture
