After buying a Madison Couch and corner piece on 5 May 2013, suddenly we get a call telling as the stock has been discontinued and that only the one on floor display is available. This is unacceptable. First the delivery was delayed with numerous excuses, such as the warehouse are busy with stock taking (were they already should have realise that the specific stock is discontinued) or that they are waiting for the warehouse. Every time we call, we get excuses and promises that they will call us back, but if we don't call nothing happen.
My biggest issue with this whole ordeal is: How can you accept the full payment from a customer which are almost R10 000, then only to tell him 2weeks later that this specific stock is suddenly discontinued? Why do you have something on display if it is discontinued?
After spending almost R20 000 in the last month on furniture at Furniture City, i will not do business with them again, and would advise any one else to rather look some where else if you want professional service
Dissapointed and irritated
