I recently (beginning of December 2012) bought a dining room set from Furniture City SOUTHGATE. I was promised delivery of goods that same week; instead I received a table one week later without any chairs! Furniture city told me that my chairs were giving away to another buyer but I would definitely receive it before Christmas. The Saturday before Christmas I still did not receive anything and when speaking to the manager I was told that they did not have stock but I could use the chairs that they had on display until stock was received. I agreed and chairs were delivered. The second week of January 2013 I went to the branch because I did not receive any calls about my chairs and the manager again to my face telling me that my chairs had arrived and I would receive it the following day. It is now the 25th February and I still have no chairs. Today I find myself paying for something that I do not have in my possession and when I call the SOUTHGATE branch I get the "run around".
I had previously bought furniture from another Furniture City branch (Cannel Walk) and got the best service.
