Bad attitude from staff at Edgars Northgate

I went into Edgars Northgate on Saturday 1st June '13. The queues were extremely long as there were hardly any agents on the till points, only one counter with 3 agents were operating. Very disappointing as it is the end of the month!! The other counter on the ladies side was completely closed! So I put my purchases down and decided to try again on Monday. I returned Monday at around 2 pm. Once again waited in the queue for about 15 minutes with only 2 agents on the till points. When I got the the agent I commented on the service and questioned why at the end of the month the service is so bad? His name was Mantcha... proudly he replied "this is the way it will be now at Edgars! " With surprise I asked why and he replied "cause they don't want to employ more people, that's why". As a customer, already receiving bad service, surely their staff should be trained in customer care, instead of involving the customer in company politics. I am reporting this as I am really at my end with Edgars staff who seriously lacks CUSTOMER CARE and the customer is always treated as least important!!!
