Queued for about 20 minutes for 2 reasons
1) very few cashiers at an always busy time (after work fridays)
2) when the cashier in my queue had a problem, there was no management to deal with it for 5-10 minutes. Eventually Ferial came to deal with it and still had the audacity to argue with the person ahead of me in the queue, when he was rightfully enquiring about the pathetic service.
Management had no presence on the floor and could not divert resources to where it needed to be to handle the queues. Is this how a pick n pay is normally run? Utterly disgusted with the poor service. I think it's time to say good bye to this pathetically managed branch. I would urge others to do the same.
Eventually more tills were opened, and everyone behind me peeled off and was out of pick n pay before I even got to the till. Appalling.
