My mom bought a cellphone for my sister who is a UJ student on her account. My sister was mugged in 2012 on the way from campus and the phone was taken. She followed the whole procedure of claiming from the insurance, took all the necessary documents to Edgars in Vall Mall. The premiums are deducted every single month on the statement and every time we go to the store to enquire about the progress of the case we are told that the claim is under investigation. We were at Edgards again on the 12/05/2013 and this time the system does not reflect that the phone is insured and that the premiums are not being received by the insurance, yet every month the account is being debited to date. Its 2013 now and we still being given the run around by Edgars.
