I made use of ADT security for a period on 1 year in a house in which I was renting. The alarm system was installed before I moved in and incorrectly billed to my name. Despite spending literally HOURS on the phone with the useless call centre and exchanging voluminous email correspondence, every time they claimed the error was corrected, I still continued to receive the incorrect statement. More often the call centre operators pass the call from one to another with endless on hold periods in between and emails are flatly ignored. Getting anyone to take responsibility is impossible!!!
Despite several previous complaints on hellopeter for the same problem, I've only ever received the token reply and no one has ever actually responded to resolve the issue.
Now almost a year later, they have debited my account for the installation of the alarm system that has NOTHING to do with me (as it was already installed when I moved in in a house that I was renting). This constitutes!!!
What a truly pathetic, useless, incompetent company. Should be absolutely avoided at all costs!! I think the only way they manage to stay in business this long is through.
