I have had a terrible experience with ADT!!! When I moved into a house that I was renting for a period of one year, I signed a one year contract for security (the normal period being two). This was my specific request and on my copy of the contract this is what it states. However, now that the year has ended, ADT claims I still have one year left and they are refusing to release me!
Furthermore, their call centre is absolutely useless! I have spent hours explaining myself over and over and over again (And every time having to do a full security check)! Emails to [Email Removed] are never responded to. The call centre personnel say the have forwarded my request to the cancellations department, but no one from there has ever contacted me!
There is no accountability at this company! Everyone just passes the buck and it is impossible to get hold of someone that is responsible!! Disgusting service!
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF SIGNING A CONTRACT WITH THESE USELESS! They are all accommodating when about to take your money, and incompetent afterwards!!
