My alarm goes off when opening my front door, there should be a 30 second delay. I have had the alarm checked by ADT only to have them reasure me the alarm is working this was about 5 months ago. On the odd occassion the alarm does go off then ADT DO NOT RESPOND. NO PHONE CALLS OR EVEN THE PATROL CARS. During this week my alarm did the same thing still no response from ADT.
Tonight I arrived home in the porring rain. As I opened my front door the alarm activate, no 30 second delay. I waited for 5 minutes no call or even a patrol car. I decided to do a test myself and press the panic button to see if this will at least get ADT to respond. Nope no reaction. I decided to call ADT to see if they are receiving a signal this is at 23:53 on the 30 November. According to the operator they did receive an activation but they were still responding. WHAT! STILL RESPONDING??? I could have been, murdered, and robbed by the time they respond... that is if ADT DO RESPOND!!! The operator informs me that they are experiencing high call volumes. Is this my problem? I pay for a service, my safety is in your companies hands and you tell me you are busy!! Not a happy :(
