ADT DOES NOT RESPOND TO BURGLARY

On the 19th of April my house was burgled by breaking down the front door. The alarm was activated and signal was sent to ADT. My wife arrived at 12 h 15 to find the front door broken down and was potentially exposed to the. ADT had to be called to respond to the burglary and arrived 45 minutes after the incident occurred. ADT has subsequently in writing admitted that the were grossly negligent and that the responding officer went to the wrong house!! This is not very reassuring for a alarm response company. Subsequent to this on the 13th of May the alarm was activated, the control room called and indicated incorrect zones had been activated, I personally drove to my home from my office to find no response officer the respionse officer only arrived after 13 minutes as he was on another call!! I have subsequently cancelled my contract with ADT, they are now threatening to remove my alarm system as it was hired even though the original 3 year contract ended 7 years ago and has never been renewed in writing as well as the fact they they were in breach of the service agreement. I will definitely take this to the Consumer Protection Commissioner.
