An ADT consultant came to our home to do a contract, he said if we should move to a new premises the alarm system will be moved as well. He also explained that drill holes that was made will be covered neatly. We moved to a new address. The consultant told me that they will be available on 13/11/2013 at 9:00.I made arrangements with my work to be there at 9:00 to move system to new address. I called him at 9 to find out where he were. He told me that they should have been there already and that he will phone them to find out where they are. He phoned back and informed me that the team is busy on installations at Benoni and that they can only assist me at14:00. Again I had to make new arrangements with my work and I had to take 1 day unpaid leave because of this issue. The team only arrived at my old address after 14: 35 the afternoon. They removed the alarm system and did not even bother to close all the drill holes as it was mentioned upon signing the contract. I asked the one guy about the open holes and he only smiled at me. The service we received from ADT was very POOR.If this is what we as paying customers can expect from a maintenance team what can we expect from a safety protection.
