I contacted CHUBB on Tuesday the 20th of August, to make an appointment for someone to come out an replace a board/panel on my alarm system. Please note, that I am with a different response team, but the alarm system in my home was initially installed by CHUBB- just did not want to replace the whole system- thus I contacted them and ARRANGE an appointment for Monday (26/8/2013) @ 9am. I also had to put in a day's leave from work. Well this morning came, and no one pitched up, when I contacted CHUBB, they told me no one is available to come out. WHY DID I EVEN bother making an appointment then? They lady informed me she will phone me back... and when she did, she just told me that I do not have an account with them, I told her that yes, I was with a different response team, but CHUBB installed the alarm system, and I did not see necessary for the whole system to be replaced, just need a board, but because CHUBB installed the system, my response company advised that CHUBB just come and replace the board. I still have not heard back from them. As result of this, my alarm is not functioning, I wonder if I can hold CHUBB liable when a breakin does happen. Wasted my time!
