I use the debt order as a payment method, and pay my account on the first of every month (the R590). So on the 1 January 2013 I called to deactivate my account because I wasn't using my DSTV for a while and wanted to save a bit of mony. But the payment when of the first of Jan 2013 and they told me that I have to deactivate two days before they credit my account which I accept. But later that month I phoned DSTV to activate my account to find out is wasn't deactivated. They instead down-graded my account! Then I phoned them and told them the problem. So they upgraded my account to premium.
Two months later I got a bill of R1038! I phoned them again to ask them why that is. They said it is because I was on the smaller package in January 2013. I then told them it was their mistake, I then had tol hold for 15min where he told me that they would go and listen to the calls and then thy would call me back. I haven't heard from them notthing. So I have to pay for their mistake, waste my time and money to fix it due to their incompetance. I thought debt order was a good thing, but its just another way of steeling from their customers.
