I am absolutely horrified at the service I received yesterday from Top TV/Star Sat.
I have paid my account on time every month since I have had Top TV.
I paid a few days late this month because I was on holiday, so Top TV suspended my service. Which I totally understand.
Once I had paid my account, I called the call center and was told that it will take 24 hours to be reconnected.
24 Hours later, I called again and was told to send a proof of payment to [Email Removed]
I sent the proof of payment and called the call center back, I spoke to a woman that told me that it will now take 48 hours to reconnect.
I then asked to speak to a manager and the manager tells me that it will take 72 hours to reconnect.
The way this is going, I will be waiting for a month!!
This is the most horrific service I have ever received, the manager that I spoke to had such a bad attitude.
I am very close to moving to DSTV again.
If you pay and send a proof of payment with DSTV then they reconnect you. Top TV seriously needs to get their act together.
If my service is not on by time I get home today then I am definitely going to cancel my subscription to Top TV.
