I rented a flat through ASAP properties in Brooklands Garderns, centurion. I gave notice to vacate the property. ASAP found a new tenant for the flat, I cleaned it and made sure it was in a good state for the new tenant who has moved in since. My deposit was supposed to be refunded in full, an amount of R12600.00 plus interest.
I gave my account details to ASAP three times as they claimed they didn't have them- but these were also completed on the checklist form. I followed up with them when no payment was received. ASAP has been avoiding my follow up with them and have since informed me that they can't get hold of the owner and won't be able to refund me as the owner is supposed to pay my refund.
