My name is Gabby, I bought a house in 2008 and I did qualify but late 2008 I quailed and Ned bank granted me a home loan. before I qualified I was in a joint bond with a nurse who she also didn't qualify alone to have a home loan due to the amount we earned then.
The agent from MDV John I forgot his surname sold the house for me that I own myself alone. The joint bond was cancelled with the nurse due to the fact that I could qualify alone for a home loan. Late 2009 I received a sms saying you can start to pay towards your home loan it was approved.
I called standard bank I told them I don't have a home loan with them I only have it with Nedbank. They explained to me that I'm in a joint bond with the Monametsi family the gave the detailed of them. I called them I spoke to Mr Monametsi he told me to meet at Carlton centre standard bank in Johannesburg. We met and they advised us to go to daily sun due to the fact that I had no clue I had a home loan or was in a joint bond with Monametsi family. I never sat down with lawyer and agree on contract and discuss I did when I was signing for my house. I was shocked and felt cheated by the agent.
