I resigned on 23/9/13. My paperwork was sent to gepf office in pe on 08/11/13. It took a week for my paperwork to reach pretoria (was suppose to take one day according to one of gepf workers). I spoke to maria on 24/12/13 (gepf call centre). She confirmed my details even my banking details was confirmed and she said there is a date for payment. I should hold the line... When she eventually came back on line she told me that there was no date, and I will be paid out in January, no errors (she told me). On 2nd january I phone gepf again they then told me there was errors. It took them almost 3months to find this error. The errror was rectified on 21/1/14 and papers was send to pe branch on that day. Today 28/1/14 I phoned, my paperwork still did not reach pretoria. Are these people doing their work or following up on such cases. Makes me scared to think we leave our life long money in the hands of such incompetent ppl.
