I have had problems with the payment of my pension for seven months now. all my documentation is at GEPF, also linked on the system. Mr Thabiso Poo, cannot give me a date for payment and said it will take 60 days at least. Previously i was informed that my documents were already at payment section when they needed my new ID with married surname. I submitted that and was told that my documents will go directly to payment section. Now Mr Thabiso is telling me that it must be rechecked and verified AGAIN, although it has been done previously already.
GEPF is now earning interest on MY pension money which should have earned interest for me over the past seven months and the employees are dragging their feet. No one can give me any indication why they are not doing the payment! They have all the documents, it has been verified. I am not the only one who has encountered this delay in payment, which means that GEPF is gaining interest on MY pension money.
