I applied for ID in 2008 and I did receive it. I lost it in 2012 and went to home affairs to apply for a new one only to be told that it is blocked due to duplication. I did interviews with them and submitted all documents in October 2012.I waited until may 2013 only to be told that the letter confirming my citizenship arrive in march but the officer dealing with my case is sick I will get a call we she's back. I came back in june to be told she did came back but she's sick again.my case was taken by another officer who call someone head office to remove the red mark the said he will do it again I was promised to be called. I returned in november only to be told the person who promised to remove the mark is on study leave I should come back after a week I give them to weeks, we tried to call the person at head office but no one responded.now I'm told to resubmit all documents for a new case.
Currently I can't take care of my family due to not having a Id document. I'm afraid I won't be able to vote next year.
