An IRP5 was incorrectly issued in my name by a company that i do not work for or receive an income from.
i have contacted them to cancel it which they acknowledge and admit is incorrect but they say they have a problem with the easyfile software and they have to wait for sars to manually post them an EMP601. (in holiday season)
I have until the end of December and SARS is not bothered to help me.
everything is up to the company that issued the irp5. everything i say, sars reverts back to the dead end road I've been going up since July.
i have phoned 4 times and physically been to sars Umhlanga 3 times. they refuse to do anything or even advise me constructively.
Cant even extend my time to object or verify if there is a known software problem so i know where i stand.
do i have to go a legal route at my expense or just pay sars for nothing?
