I Have had serious issues with Sars over the last financial year. I had not received an IRP 5 from my previous company whom had falsely declared incorrect income paid to me result in me getting a huge assessment bill. I was at the time in a legal battle with the company. I had been to SARs on several occasions with legal documents explaining the issue and lodging disputes but it was easily declared by SARs that the companies information was true although to me an my attorney it was. Todate I am still having the issue as I have to make a large payment to SARS at the end of Jan or I would have my salary garnished. I had spoken to the call center explaining that the company had finally made a settlement which was not the true amount and is delaying in sorting out the new IRP 5 but Sars would still not understand. Why is it that a Company can falsely declare amounts paid and still get away with SARS even though documents are submitted to prove it, but when individuals are doing something correct they are then scrutinized. Is there any body whom could assist me as SARS cannot with their poor systems. Sars would prefer to take money from innocent individuals and leave the.
