I got a call from a police officer stating that a case of has been opened against me by Shell petrol station in Newroad. Then i got another call from police lady saying she is Sargent Tshwane and she is handling the case and I need to come to the police station if I dont want her to send helicopters and police dogs and amabharede to come for me. I said to her I will come through with my legal representative and she said I shouldn't come with anyone i must come alone she wants to have a chat with me before involving legal bodies. I said to her but I cannot come without my legal representative and she still said i should not. After that I requested that she provides me with the case number and she said by law she cannot give me the case number because I am a suspect. I called Shell head office to lodge a complaint about the case being opened and the lady I spoke to said the sargent was supposed to give me the case number. I am not happy with this and I feel my rights have been violated by the sargent and also threatning me. I want something to be done about this as soon as possible. Police think that they are the above the law and that we dont know our rights. Its enough
