For the last week, electricity in our area has been coming on and off on a regular basis.
Calling the CIty Power call centre has yielded very poor results:
- Most call centre agents cannot tell you what the problem is, and those that do know cannot tell you when a permanent solution will be put in place
- There is no escalation procedure (even though we have been becoming increasingly frustrated)
- Faults logged on the website get closed and marked as "Resolved" when this clearly isn't the case
- There is a general lack of accountability or sense of customer care
- The complaints telephone number that is given out doesn't get answered.
The company makes you feel like they don't have to fix the problem, because you don't have a choice of moving your business elsewhere!
