I have been paying for my TV license by debit order for many years. From October 2013 the SABC licence dept have not been submitting the debit order request to my bank, so the licence has not been paid since then. They do not respond to my queries at all, and have now handed me over to debt collectors valled VVM, who only want their R416 and is also not interested in understanding that I use a debit order to pay. I cannot get SABC to understand that the debit order payment request is in their hands and not mine.
