Bought a TV in June 2010 with the licence and renewed it in OCTOBER 2011 (R350 to the debt collectors) with charges and apparently the payment was not forwarded to SABC because l had used my phone number as reference instead of the TV licence.
There were some changes with debt collectors and the new debt collectors (nudebt) carried on charging me monthly penalty fees regardless of the fact that l had forwarded them the proof of payment. The account went on to accamulate to 1400 to date.
