I keep receiving text messages as well as phone calls from Nu Debt a comapnay recruited to try and retreive R450.00 from me for the above mentioned TV licence. I have been trying to cancel this TV licence for the last few years now!
In 2012 I was contacted with regards to arrears acrued on my TV licence 253755524, I paid up the account in full and once again contacted the SABC and requested the information to cancel this account as I no longer needed a TV licence of my own as my TV was a few years back and when I moved in with my Fiance in 2011 he bought a new TV on HP and had to register for a TV licence of his own on his name and for our home address!
I have contacted the SABC with regards to the cancellation of my TV license and I get told my documents were never received, this has been going on for the last year now! As far as I am concerned I have cancelled my TV licence and I am not liable to pay the R 450.00 rand now due on my CANCELLED TV LICENCE, as we have an existing TV licence in my fiances name for our household!!!
