St Michaels is a brilliant Retirement Village and Frail Care Centre as are all the 24-7 centres. After 17 days without bells in Frail Care I am extremely concerned about my mother. She can't walk but for years if she pressed the bell, a nurse would be there in seconds. Apparently they are awaiting spare parts for their bell system. How long will this take to resolve, what is their contingency plan and how many old people will suffer due to the bells not working? Surely this should be a priority in any Frail Care Centre? 17 days without bells in Frail Care is not acceptable.
