I have recently had the unfortunate experience of having a treatment done at Allie John Hair and Beauty in Umhlanga. Having seen a Groupon advertised, I opted to call the Salon personally to enquire if they had immediate availability as I need the treatment done as soon as possible. I was informed that I need not book with Groupon to get their rates as Groupon gets a slice of the profits and that I would get the same price if I booked independently of Groupon, directly with the Salon themselves.
I booked and paid for a Go Straight Keratin Treatment on Saturday 14/09/2013. The end result left me speechless. Instead of having sleek soft silky hair, my hair has been left dry n coarse. I was promised very favorable result which have definitely not been delivered resulting in me being highly disappointed. I have compared the treatments I have received to others who have the same done all the time with the very same products I was led to believe were used. None of them have had my experience which leads me to believe that substitute and substandard products were used. I have unsuccessfully been trying to get a response from the Salon!
