No Cust Care From Nedbank In Old Age

I have General Power of Attorney to act on behalf of my frail bedridden mother. I applied for P.O.A at Nedbank on Sat 27/7/13. Ms Padayachee made copies of relevant doc's & said it will be sent off to Nedbank Legal on Mon 29/7/13. No feedback from her, I'm suffering from a bout of laringitis, so I had to drive back to the Branch. Ms Padayachee informed me Legal Dept needs a copy of my ID reflecting my previous surname, despite having a copy of my divorce cert. I got divorced in 2000 - ID's get destroyed once they are replaced! Ms Padayachee then said I should give a copy of my ID with my MAIDEN NAME - what is that about? I married my late husband in 1984 - ditto for ID upon replacement! Then Ms Padayachee said maybe I need a doctor's certificate stating my mother's health. I find it unacceptable to be sent from pillar to post by Nedbank whilst not communicating the requirements of Legal Dept with me. My ID runs throughout all suporting docs given to Nedbank - how dare you question my ID? My frail mother- a Nedbank client needs support! Your rival banks offer a service to send a representative out to witness once their clients become unable to look after themselves, why cant you?!
