I keep on getting smses and phone calls threatening me to pay a Virgin Active account I took for my daughter two years ago and cancelled immediately as we changed our minds. Virgin are AWARE of this cancellation, however MBD who seem to buy up any old debt continue to harass me regarding this. No matter how many times I tell them and email them. I am within my consumer rights to have cancelled this contract. I legally cancelled this contract. Why the do I have to explain to MBD - I do not have the time or the energy. THIS CONTRACT IS CANCELLED SO MBD HAVE NO CHANCE TO GET ANY MONEY OUT OF ME. They threaten and harass innocent people into paying debts that they try and score from. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN HARASSED BY THIS COMPANY. CAN YOU PLEASE STOP - DONT YOU UNDERSTAND WHEN I TELL YOU THIS IS A CANCELLED CONTRACT. IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVE IT TO YOU - YOU GO AND FIND OUT FROM VIRGIN WHO YOU BOUGHT THE DEBT FROM. I HAVE IN THE PAST BEEN HARASSED ABOUT TEN YEAR OLD DEBT - PRESCRIBED DEBT - BY THIS SAME COMPANY. You may think you fool some people into paying prescribed debt but some of us actually know their consumer rights.
