'Was a Virgin Active member on Vitality discounted package. Sometime last year my VA installment went up as I hadn't gone to the gym enough times, subsequent to that I also cancelled my Vitality membership due to financial difficulties. I called Virgin and cancelled my membership I was then called to reinstate I refused stating my reasons then the guy said he would allow for about 3/4 mnths for debit not go off and then check if I want to continue. After those four months I started getting debited again and just eventually changed banks. I called Virgin wanting reversal of post cancellation debits to my account. I was given a run around and instead I am now getting called by debt collectors who want money from me when its Virgin who ought to pay me. I have called virgin numerous times and even went to the branch and then there was going to be phone calls or listening to recordings none of which ever happened. All they do intimidate me by getting a debt collector to harass me. Numerous times I have explained to debt collectors why am not willing to pay, they tell me to deal with Virgin otherwise they will simply blacklist me... VA am truly disappointed and disgusted @ this behavior!!
