Not honoring advertised price on website

My family (2 Adults with 2 Kids) would like to re-join Virgin Active as members with the Discovery benefit.

Currently (14/01/2013) the Discovery Website advertise a once off joining fee of R865.00 per person.

However when I spoke to a consultant at Tygervalley, she said it is R965.00. This to me is false advertising. Nowhere on the website it states that R865.00 is the "old rate", that it's no longer valid or that the rate will change in January.

I would like "discovery/virgin active" to honour the advertised price, as this is the communicated price advertised by Discovery, in January, on their website.

It does not help talking to consultants, as they just say the new rate for January is R965.00 and this is a fixed rate that they have nothing to do with.

Please honor the R865.00 advertised rate. As a consumer, I believe I am intitled to it.
