It is spectacular how difficult it can be working with Discovery Vitality and Planet Fitness. My son is over 18 and want to go to the gym and now I was trying to find out the cost for him. Simple guess again. No prices on the Planet Fitness website nor on Discovery Vitality Website. I phoned Planet fitness and got their rate and want to speak to Discovery Vitality and confirm and according to Manfred from Discovery Vitality Planet Fitness fees is as following
2013 Standard Gym Fees was R345/month
2014 Standard Gym Fees is R465/month a whopping 34% increase
Speaking to the Gym they inform me that it is R385/month
How difficult can it be to advertise the rate as I have 3 different rates and now very annoyed with Discovery Vitality and Planet Fitness as 34% increase is daylight and not sure how Discovery Vitality could agree to this as they are suppose to REPRESENT their clients interest.
With Discovery the catch in the small print and now they point fingers to Planet Fitness as they just give discount.
