After going on the medical aid, I took my son, age 6, to the dentist for a normal check up. After he saw the dentist, he said he will have to go to theatre as it will be much better to fix a few teeth all at once. I handed them all the documentation they needed and phoned the dentist every day to found out if they have recieved an authorization number, it took 5 days of phoning just to be told they don't cover theatre. I took out the documents Resolution Health sent me and I read every thing, no where does t state that theatre is not covered. Now I'm confused, is it just or dental, or is it just that its not covered. I took out medical aid for the purpose if my 2 kids do end up going to hospital, at least I won have to pay cash. Am I missing the part here it does say theatre s not covered?
