Discovery Call Centre (and management) useless

I called Discovery on 12th Dec 2013 and explained that my divorce would go through mid-Dec and that I'd need to make a plan to move from my ex-husband's plan to my own. I was told this could not be done until my ex-husband had cancelled me from his plan first. Once I received notification that my medical aid cover as a beneficiary on my ex-husband's plan would expire 31st December, I again called Discovery on 28th Dec and explained the situation, to which I was told that a Consultant would call me on Monday 30th or Tuesday 31st December. I received no call. On 31 Dec I spoke to at least 3 consultants and was escalated 3 levels until I spoke to David at the executive office in CT. He assured me he would handle the case personally as it will now take `3-5 days to load and approve my membership once they receive the completed forms. To this day I have STILL not received the forms and they are not available on their website.. They have all been useless - there have been nothing but empty promises and blatant regarding their committments to me!!! How hard is it to sign up on Discovery Health??
