I am very disappointed with Bergman, Ross and Partners. My wife went for scans in August 2013 and we were told that they will be claiming the money from the medical aid. On 8 October 2013 i received a statement via email to which i responded, requesting to make an arrangement for down payment as i lost my father on 16 September 2013 to which i had no response. On 4 November 2013 i sent a second email to them requesting an answer as i have not had any feedback also with no response. On 23 December 2013 i made the payment for the full amount of R368.10, just to get an sms later the day stating that i have been handed over to the attorneys Du Plessis & Partners and that i still owe the money. on 7 January 2014, we contacted the attorneys who advised us that we still owe them R462.14 for collection commission, smses and telephone calls of which we have never received anything but the first sms notification. The attorneys has no order for costs or collection commission as we have paid the money way before they contacted us whilst Bergman, Ross just does not want to intervene at all claiming they got their money and they are happy? is this normal to treat people like this?
