On 28/01/2013 I received a call from meranda informing me of my account that has been handed over to them (Du Plessis & Partners Attorneys) by Dr. G Jacobson, stating that i did not pay them for a procedure done last year September. i then called my medical aid (libcare) to enquire. it was confirmed by my medical aid that they did pay the doctor and they forwarded me a statement as proof.
I then forwarded that statement to Meranda and I did not receive any correspondance regarding the matter.
Just recently my bag was and reported it accordingly, i also contacted Transunion and they sent my statement showing my credit report and to my surprise, i had a default under my name from Du Plessis & Partners attorneys loaded on 11/03/2013. i then called on 18/03/2013 to enquire. I spoke to a Nadene, who then transferred me back to Meranda as she said Meranda is the one handling this matter. Meranda suddenly didnt know anything and i requested to speak to her suoerior, Nadene and i was kept on hold for 15minutes and eventually i hung up.
i am not pleased as i have been given the run around for a default that should not be there in the first place. can this matter be sorted please.
