Doctors don't listen to patients and family

My husband sustained serious injuries during a motorbike accident. He had previous accidents & his medical history such as back surgery & 2 hip replacements were important and had to be checked. In Unitas emergency Dr Goosen simply ignored my urgent requests that he take scans or x-rays to confirm that his hips & his back is fine. Dr Goosen also down played his injuries. I found out later that night that hubby is not fine. He has a bursted kidney & laserated spleen with several broken ribs. He was admitted to Trauma ICU. It is better to tell us the truth than to let your entire family know, all is ok and then deliver the bad news later.
Dr Lourens took over in high care & the normal ward. She simply decided to stop his chronic mecication & replace it with something else. Please note that you don't just stop Cymbalta. You have to go off it slowly & start going onto something else also slowly. Hubby already had bad withdrawal symptoms. Dr Lourens had a complete tantrum in front of my hubby with the nurse. Speaking about him as if he is not there & each time he tried to speak just ignored him. Then Dr Lourens signed him off as she does not want to deal with him anymore. Pathetic!
