I went to an Specsavers for an eye test. They called Discovery and was told that I could claim R2967.00 and also gave a reference number. I went ahead and chose my glasses and level of finish. I then get a call from the optometrist to say that Discovery is paying R2227.00 and that I have to pay the difference. Called Discovery and spoke to a very helpful agent who could not help me. It seems as though the optometrist the amount out of the air. I don't think so. I am very disappointed. It is clear that someone made a mistake and i have to now pay as a result.
