On Monday, 29 April 2013, I got missed calls from Discovery from 0319400257. The called my cellphone, my work phone and home phone at 10:17am. I listened to the voice message at midday as I was in a meeting all morning. The agent basically told me to call Discovery & she left a reference #. I spent the better part of the afternoon on the phone with Discovery & I was tossed and turned from one department to another and NO-ONE could help me, I provided them with the reference number but I was transferred from Health, to Vitality, to Credit and back to Health. I eventually got assistance at 16:30pm. I left my previous employer at the end of March 2013 and (THANK HEAVENS) I was forced to join my new employers medical aid. I was covered by Discovery until the end of March'13. I had R5400 in my MSA account at the beginning of the year, I got glasses in Feb'13 and my new MSA balance was - R2300. This is over and above the Jan, Feb and March 2013 monthly payments. The reason I was being tracked down like a criminal by the Discovery agent is because they claim I owe Discovery R1700.The statement says I have a positive balance in my MSA so WHY DO YOU WANT ME TO PAY? Such bully behavior!
