So discovery has this wonderful new app, you can even submit a claim via there app, or so they say. I have submitted a claim to the value of R185.00 for a assessment done by Dr. Suzan Bowman via the app. I waited more than a month and called discovery to follow up. I was told that there is no record of this claim and that I should have received a ref number?? Hallo - the app gives no reference number!! So I submitted again on 02 April and followed up today. Spoke to Zimasa and she told me that the doctor did not fill in the invoice correctly so no pay! So basically I am now paying because there doctor that is listed on their network has made a mistake. She also said I used bad language because I used the word. This word is sacred in my religion. Tried telling her that and she implied I should change my religion. Spoke to the Manager (Mpho) - what a disaster. Discovery is supposed to be the leaders in the market. I am going to cancel everything I have with Discovery. When I told Mpho I am going to move to Old Mutual he said I am welcome. That to me is like asking me to leave and that I in my capacity as a client have no impact and that my business can easily be replaced.
