I am at a stage where I have decided to cancel my membership with Bonitas because of their service provider, Pharmacy Direct. They are very inefficient and most of the call centre consultants don't even have a clue of what's happening. Almost every month is a struggle to get my chronic medication. As it is now I have run out of my medication. I have phoned Pharmacy Direct three times already requesting my medication. They haven't even submitted the claim to the medical aid. What is the point of having the chronic medication benefit with Bonitas if I can't get the medication? Why is Bonitas insisting on members to use Pharmarcy Direct and still fail to act against them when the members complain? For the money I'm paying, I deserve much better than this service.
