I am very dissatisfied with Bonitas. My initial medical aid (Prosano) amalgamated with Bonitas. And ever since then I have had nothing but disappointment.
One of the latest disappointments were that I was instructed by them to use Pharmacy Direct as a preferred service provider for chronic medication and it is now the second month in a row that my medication has not been delivered on time. I am without medication. And my medication is serious. Withdrawal includes seizures and other fatal withdrawal symptoms. It is now Friday night and I have to wait until Monday before anything can be done. So, just so I know, who does my family sue, should I die over the weekend? Bonitas? Pharmacy Direct? Just checking.
