Momentum does not respond to preauthorisation requ

I phoned Momentum preauthorisation depratment and requested authorisation for a Venofer drip. I was told that the dodctor was required to write a motivation and once sent through i would receive a respnse in 48 hours. 3 days later I did not receive a reposnse. I called the centre agaan and was told the motivation had not been received, I emailed it again and was told that they had seen this but the doctor needed to indicate what oral medication was being tried. There was no coomunication of this to the doctor or myself. The doctor then tried phoning the number i was given and was put throught he whole process of being told blood rtests had not been received etc and then put on hold. The consultant did not return. This is extremely poor communication and a lack of regard for what a doctor feels is the best treatment for her patient. I certainly hope that the authroisation is sorted out before i am forced to resort to placing a report of this in the media.
